Sword and Shield Direct - New Characters
This is a Part 2 of the Pokemon Direct. Part 1 covered all the new Pokemon that will be appearing from the Start Pokemon to the Mascot Legendary Pokemon. For Part 2 I will be going over the characters that will appear during your journey in Galar. For starters the player character, like in past games, can either be male or female.
This time, though, I am liking the female default trainer a LOT more than the male. He would look better without the baggy hat. I guess that's what character customations are for. Speaking of which, you can also decide how to look on the start of your adventure, just like in past games.

Sword and Shield Direct - New Pokemon
The Nintendo Direct for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield has aired this morning and it showed up a ton of new content coming our way and that includes New Pokemon as well. What we have seen in the Direct are five new Pokemon plus two new Legendaries at the end. With the starters that brings the total up to 10 new Pokemon for Gen VIII so far. There is so much content that this journal will be split into at least two parts, one for the Pokemon and at least one more for the other stuff. Before we begin on what's new the Pokemon Website has more details on the Starter Pokemon that wasn't revealed in the initial trailer:

Just recently the Pokemon Press Conference had streamed on the web showing projects that are coming in 2019 and into 2020. In that conference several things have been confirmed and this journal entry will sum up what was shown today starting off with a game that was recently made into a move as well as other key points featured in the conference.
