Nintendo Direct Overview

The Direct has been aired earlier today and here are some key points that have been given out during the presentation:

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD
This remake of the Gamecube/Wii title has been speculated since data relating to it has been discovered.  Now confirmed this game will come with the Wolf Link Amiibo and is compatible to the other Zelda Amiibos released for Super Smash Bros.  A bundle for Wolf Link and the game will be released on March 4th, 2016 which marks the 30th anniversary of the Legend of Zelda series.

Zelda WiiU
Yep, they are still working on this.  Not much has been shown, though, but is slated for a 2016 release.  One thing is known, though, some data stored into the Wolf Link Amiibo can be carried onto the new Zelda game.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes
DLC will be coming starting with the Den of Trials dungeon.  There are many stages where you have to defeat every enemy to proceed but there will be checkpoints in them.  Two new outfits have been confirmed: Linebeck's outfit and the Fierce Diety Armor.  The update is free and will release in December 2nd.

Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
The story of the game is that all the Pokemon are being turned to stone for reasons unknown.  There will also be a feature called the Connection Galaxy where you can receive mission requests.

Splatoon
New stages, gear, and weapons are coming.  One stage will be Museum d'Alfonsino featuring spinning platforms.  And there is another stage called Mahi Mahi resort where you fight in a pool, with platforms because Inklings are allergic to water, but the level will drop revealing more platforms to ink.  Also, it seems those Jellyfish people can handle water quite fine.  The update is out now and the museum stage will be added tomorrow, at 8 pm CT instead of the usual 9 pm CT.

Super Mario Maker
A new site will be launched to make searching for courses a bit easier.

Pokken Tournament
Shadow Mewtwo can be unlocked immediately if you use its amiibo card coming soon.  The game will be released in Spring 2016.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
The game is Amiibo compatible to let you gain cards that can be used in battle for various effects.  Plus, Chargin' Chucks are going to be in the game.  The game will be released on January 22, 2016.

Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow
These games are coming for the 3DS Virtual Console and trading/battling will be made possible through wireless.  The only downside to this is the long wait time because the games won't be released on February 27, 2016.

Super Smash Bros. for the WiiU/3DS
Cloud Storms Into Battle


This plus a special Smash Direct is coming next month.  As you noticed I didn't cover everything told in the Direct.  I only picked out things that looked the most interesting to me plus work had me exhausted today.  Until next time, seyalu. ^^
