Terra Academy
Episode 66: Star Struck
By dsguy411

Robin was running through the alleyways of Sandshore Island and was seem to be in a frantic state as she was knocking down garbage cans, boxes, crates, and anything else she could find.  Behind her was what appears to be a tall, cloaked figure with blood red eyes, pursuing the girl and evading everything she knocked down.  Robin kept on running until she ended at a dead end with nothing but an old dumpster.  Turning around the girl noticed that she was blocked by the cloaked figure.
“Hand over the idol,” the figure ordered in a raspy voice, “Or you’ll suffer a most terrible fate.”
“Never,” Robin denied, holding out what appears to be a golden monkey statuette, “I’ll never hand over such an important artifact to a demon such as you!”
“Very well then,” the demon replied, “You have been warned.”
The demon reached out its grey hand with red finger nails towards Robin who backed towards the wall.  When the demon was about to grab her Marcus came out of nowhere and jumped the demon.
“What the?” the demon asked, but in a different voice this time.
“Sorry, but you aren’t hurting my friend,” Marcus said, easily knocking the demon down onto the ground, “Good thing I saw you being chased by that thing, Robin.  Otherwise you would have been in trouble.”
“Cut!!” Rachel cried, appearing from behind the dumpster and holding a camera.  She looked at Marcus and was rather displeased with his interference.
“Huh?” Marcus spoke, not understanding what was going on.
He looked over and notice that two people emerged from the cloak.  It was none other than Nathan and Natalie, with Natalie being on top and wearing the demon glove.
“You idiot!” Rachel cried out, “Robin was never in any real danger.  We were just helping out with Robin’s film project for her drama class.”
“Oops….sorry,” Marcus said.
“Just great,” Natalie said, getting up and dusting herself off.
“We are now going to have to do that whole scene again,” Nathan said, “Do you exactly know how hard it is for two people stacked together to move?”
Rachel took a look at her watch and turned off her camera.
“Come on, the ferry’s going to leave pretty soon,” Rachel said, “We’ll have to shoot the scene again tomorrow.”
Rachel, Nathan, Natalie, and Robin walked pass Marcus who immediately followed, heading back to the ferry as the sun began to set.

***

The next day Marcus was walking down with Simon as they headed for the auditorium along with just about everybody in the entire academy.
“Big crowd,” Marcus spoke, “I wonder what the Headmaster is going to say in the assembly that requires everyone to be here?”
“I don’t know,” Simon answered, “But it was all of a sudden.  I hope nothing is seriously wrong.”
Everyone got seated in as Headmaster Savage, assisted by Simian, took a step forth the podium.  Marcus and Simon were sitting towards the front rows while Rachel, Alice, and Robin were way in the back.
“Ahem, I’ll make this brief,” Savage spoke into the microphone, “Last night I was on the phone with someone and had said he was interested with the abandoned dorm.”
“That’s odd,” Robin spoke softly, “In all of my years at this academy Headmaster Savage never once showed any interest of the abandoned dorm.  He doesn’t even bother with making any renovations of any sort.”
“Of course to explain why I have brought this up this guy here will tell us what he wanted with the dorm,” Headmaster Savage said.
He stepped aside and from behind the curtains emerged a man with short, light brown hair, wore a dark gray suit, and was wearing sunglasses.
“Greetings,” the man spoke to the crowd, “The name’s Michael Stevenson and I am a big time Hollywood producer.”
From that mention everyone in the auditorium was muttering excitedly.  Robin, of all the students, seemed to be the most intrigued.
“As I was saying I have chosen Terra Academy for one important factor,” Michael said, “Its abandoned dorm is the perfect setting for my horror flick for Halloween, The Grimmening.”
The entire crowd seemed impressed but Simon was looking a little bit suspicious so he rose his hand.
“Excuse me,” the boy spoke, “But you are planning to shoot a horror film for this Halloween?  That day is not too far from today and you are trying to shoot a movie for it that would take months to shoot and a few more days to weeks to edit.”
“Uh…,” Michael spoke, readjusting his sunglasses, “Yes, that is normally true.  However much of the movie will take place in that old dorm and the public scenes can be filmed in Sandshore Village.  Plus I am brilliant at editing in such short time so I can get this whole thing done in a week.”
The crowed was completely impressed by Simon still looked doubtful.
“Of course I am looking for some people willing to play as the teens for my movie,” Michael said, “That is why I am holding auditions all day and we can begin screening tomorrow.”
Some of the kids seemed to be intrigued of the exciting news.  Camille looked like she was going to get that part, Alice was giving some thought as to trying, while Rachel was looking towards Robin.
“You know, you are doing well in the project we are doing,” she said to her friend, “Maybe you can audition?”
“Nah,” Robin declined, much to Rachel’s surprise.

***

“Come on, Robin,” Rachel said to her friend as she was putting away books in her locker, “You are doing super well in that class.  You should at least audition for the movie.”
“True I am getting straight A’s in that class,” Robin admitted, “But I only took that class because it looked like a fun elective.  I was surprised that I would do great in it.  I prefer to help people and stop bad guys over acting any day.”
“Okay,” Rachel said, understanding Robin’s decision, “But I still think you would have done well in the movie.”
“Why don’t you try and audition?” Robin asked.
“I would but….,” Rachel spoke a little, “Horror films aren’t really my thing.”
“Oh, well as for me I have better plans for my future,” Robin said, “And acting isn’t one of them.”

***

In the auditorium Michael was holding auditions for who was going to play as the star of his movie.  The producer himself was sitting in the front row while Simon and Marcus were sitting a few rows behind him.  On the stage were a few kids including Tyler, Alice, and Camille.
“Mind telling me why we are here?” Marcus whispered, “They are serving tacos at the cafeteria today and I don’t want to miss out.”
“Michael’s story does not check out for me,” Simon explained, “I want to see what he is really up to.”
“Alright,” Michael said to a group of kids, “I need at least a few volunteers for my movie but I need the star as well.  The star is the hero who is not afraid to face monsters tens of times his own size.”
“M…monsters?” Tyler asked nervously.
“Relax, it’s just a movie,” Michael reassured, “None of you will be in any danger because I have taken the necessary safety precautions.  Anyway, I need a star which I will determine by your strength.”
Nathan and Natalie were working as stagehands behind the curtains as they were pulling on a rope together, lowering a punching bag towards the front end of the stage.  Michael grabbed his script and flipped over some pages like he was reading it.
“First off, I need you to kick the kick bag as hard as you can,” Michael instructed.
Tyler was up first as he gave a kick, as hard as he could, right at the punching bag but it barely moved.
“Thank you,” Michael spoke, obviously unimpressed, “Next.”
Alice stepped forth and gave a good kick at the punching bag which swayed back and forth a few times.
“Good, good,” Michael said, “But I am looking for a bit more strength.”
Camille stepped back a little and then dashed towards the bag.  When she was close enough she jumped up and gave one powerful kick which made the back swing back and forth across the stage with Tyler and Alice trying to avoid getting hit.  Landing on her feet Camille’s hair somehow flowed through the wind which revealed to be a fan that was left on.
“Who left the fan on?” Michael asked.
“Sorry,” Nathan spoke, heading over to the fan to turn it off.
“Well, you made the best kick,” Michael said, “And you look perfect enough.”
“Thank you,” Camille bowed.
“But you are too perfect, next,” Michael said.
“What?!” Camille cried.
“Sorry, but I need people that don’t really care about their appearance,” Michael explained, “Someone who isn’t afraid to get dirty.”
While the auditions continued Robin was outside the auditorium looking at her uniform which had a stain on the front.
“Lousy tacos,” she grumbled, “It’s just a stain, why should the teachers care about it?”
As she was walking a fly came buzzing around, attracted to Robin’s stain.
“Hey, buzz off!” Robin cried, trying to swat the fly.
However, the fly was a bit evasive.  As Robin kept on swatting away she stumbled upon into the auditorium, making her way onto the stage.
“Uh….can I help you?” Michael asked.
The fly landed on the punching bag which Robin gave on swift kick to it, sending the object flying as the rope supporting it broke, making it fly across the room and smash onto the wall on the bag.  Michael watched the whole event and was extremely impressed, causing him to get up and set down his script.  Seeing his change Simon snuck to the front to take a look at the script.
“You are in!!” Michael cried.
“Thanks,” Robin said, “In what?”
“My movie,” Michael cried.
“But….thing is….,” Robin spoke, not at all interested.
“Listen, girl, you got some talent,” Michael said, wrapping his arm around Robin’s shoulder, “If you bring that to the big screen you are certain to be a star.  I can see it now.  You, your name on every billboard in Hollywood.  A luxurious house of her own, maybe a street will be named after you.”
“Like I would….you really think I can be a star?” Robin asked, “You really think I can have a street named after me?”
“Street, road, boulevard, whatever takes your cake,” Michael said, “If you give this a shot I can guarantee that you won’t regret it.”
“I don’t know,” Robin said, “I am kinda happy with my life as it is.”
“How about I throw in some free blueberry muffins this afternoon?” Michael offered, “I can get the caterers some excellent grub in.”
“Blueberry?” Robin asked, seeming to be a bit intrigued at the offer, “You drive a hard bargain….Okay, I’ll give it a shot.”
“Excellent!” Michael cried, “Alright, I want all of you to meet my by the abandoned dorm after school.”
“Wait, we got the part?” Tyler asked, a little confused.
“Uh…yeah, yeah, yeah,” Michael spoke, “You can be the heroine’s…uh….sidekicks.”
“Excuse me, but Camille Lamond does not play as anyone’s sidekick,” Camille declared, storming out of the stage, “I’ll just find another movie opportunity.”
Everyone else got out as Simon read Michael’s script.  However, much of the pages were blank except for a few which showed maps of the entire island.  Before Simon could say anything Michael snatched the script away from his hands.
“Listen, you little nosy brat,” Michael said in a stern voice, “This script is not for public eyes.  Now I want you to go to class, learn some things, and keep your nose out of other people’s business.”
Michael turned around and stormed out of the auditorium, leaving Marcus and a suspicious Simon behind.
“Well that was rude,” Marcus said.
“There were only diagrams in there,” Simon said, “Diagrams of the entire island.  Why would be only bring that?  In fact, why does he not really have a written script?  Marcus, something is rotten in the state of Denmark.”
“Denmark’s a state now?” Marcus asked, not understanding the phrase’s meaning, “Since when?”
“I meant that something isn’t right,” Simon said, “After school I am going to do a little research on this Michael Stevenson guy.”

***

Robin, Alice, and Tyler were at the jungle’s edge waiting for Michael to meet them.  With them was Rachel who was conversing with Robin.  Everyone was wearing their casual attire except for Rachel who still had her uniform on.
“I can’t believe you,” she spoke to her friend, “You said you didn’t want to take part of the movie business in any way.”
“I know, I know,” Robin said, “I was going to say no at first but Michael kinda….persuaded me.”
“Well I am super glad that that my friend’s going to be a star….plus I am a little jealous, too,” Rachel admitted.
“Alright, alright,” Michael spoke as he walked by, assisting him was a olive green C.A.M. unit, “We need to get this scene shot today if we want the movie done in time for Halloween.”
Robin was looking around and felt that something was missing.
“Uh…where are the blueberry muffins?” Robin asked, “You said they would be here?”
“What?” Michael spoke, “Oh…yeah, I meant to call the caterer at Sandshore but….uh….they said that they are fairly busy catering for a Halloween Party.”
“Excuse me,” Alice said, raising her hand, “There’s only one catering service in Sandshore that it is run by my parents.  I am in contact with them constantly and they didn’t mention anything about such plans yet.”
“Ah….I guess it must have come up after the last time you called them,” Michael assumed.
“Hm…that is possible,” Alice believed.
Michael looked around and noticed that there was one extra person with them.
“Wait a minute, who is that girl over there?” he asked, “This is a closed set.”
“Oh, sorry, I’ll just be going,” Rachel said.
The girl turned and walked off back towards the campus area when someone grabbed her and pulled her behind the tree.  Rachel turned and noticed that it was Simon who grabbed her.
“Simon?” the girl spoke, “What are you doing here?”
“Investigating,” Simon explained, “I looked up this Michael Stevenson after school on the internet and no results showed of a guy by that name who works as a Hollywood producer.
“Are you sure?” Rachel asked, “Perhaps he’s just a new guy working in the business.”
“He said that he’s a big time Hollywood producer,” Simon said, “If he is a big time then why are there no search results?”
“Perhaps he has a big ego,” Rachel said, “They all say they’ll make it big.  Trust me, my cousin works as an actress there and she met a bunch of new producers thinking that they are a big success.”
“Well I still want to….wait, did you say you are related to an actress?” Simon asked, “Why didn’t you bring that up earlier?”
“You never asked,” Rachel replied, “Look, if you need help my phone has a new search app that takes pictures of people and brings up the results on the web with a similar photo.”
Rachel pulled out her cellphone and pointed it towards Michael while he was still in view.  She zoomed in and snapped his picture and the app began loading, though it did take a while.”
“I forgot,” Rachel spoke with dread in her voice, “This app is in the beta stage and can be a bit buggy.”
Eventually the app successfully loaded with the search result showing a newspaper article.  Rachel gasped in shock when she showed Simon the article.  It showed a picture of a man similar to Michael but the headline said, “Unnamed Spy At Large.”
“I knew it,” Simon said, “The fact he is making a move in mere days, the lack of caterers or crew, the additional fact that he only has one C.A.M. Unit over there, plus the script that only shows the maps of the academy grounds.  He is obviously a spy.”
“But why is here at Terra Academy?” Rachel asked, “And why is he interested in that abandoned dorm.  There is nothing there.  You don’t think…..he is interested in looking for the strongest cadet to capture?”
She then looked over towards Robin, fearing that she might be in danger and is completely unaware of it.
“Let’s not jump to conclusions,” Simon said, taking the phone from Rachel’s hand, “I am going to show the Headmaster this article right away.  In the meantime you keep an eye on Mr. Stevenson over there, if that’s his real name.  I will also get Marcus to assist you as well.”
“Okay, good luck,” Rachel said.
Simon nodded as he ran towards the faculty dorms.  Rachel then slipped deeper into the jungle when she noticed that Michael was escorting the kids towards the abandoned dorm as well.  Eventually the group had entered the dilapidated building with Rachel peeking from outside the window.
“Alright, for our first take you’ll be uh….sleuthing the building for a way out,” Michael said.
“Uh…shouldn’t we be….shooting scenes of us going into the building?” Alice asked.
“Uh…we’ll do that later,” Michael said, “You’re motivation is that you are scared and you are trying to find a way out which is in the basement.”
“Uh…shouldn’t we be reading our scripts first?” Robin asked.
“Oh snap,” Michael spoke, “I forgot the scripts.  You know what, we’ll do a bit of improv for this one.”
“Sounds…unusual,” Robin said.
“Hey, I am the producer and the director here,” Michael reminded, “Now….action!!”
The C.A.M. unit activate the camera on its torso as it began recording.  Alice was just standing around nervously….unable to do a single thing as if she was extraordinarily nervous.  She reached towards the door and gave it a little jiggle, pretending that it was locked.
“This is terrible,” Alice said, acting poorly on her end, “We are trapped.  Whatever will we do?”
“Don’t panic,” Robin said calmly, “We’ll find another way out.  If we keep calm and don’t lose our cools we can get out of here safely.”
Tyler, however, didn’t say anything.  He just froze completely in front of the camera.  Rachel was watching the whole thing and she wasn’t too thrilled of seeing the whole session.
“This is awful,” Rachel spoke to herself, “The only one doing well out there is Robin.  If this was going to be an actual movie I wouldn’t watch it, even if it wasn’t horror.”
Suddenly a hand grabbed onto Rachel’s shoulder.  She screamed and kicked right at the knee of whoever touched her.  Immediately Rachel did realized that it was Marcus who she just kicked.
“Ow!” he groaned, clenching onto his knee, “What’s your problem Rachel?!”
“Well sorry, but you shouldn’t scare me like that,” Rachel defended.
“It was by an accident,” Marcus defended.
“Cut!!” Michael cried from the inside, “Who is out there?!”
Rachel grabbed Marcus and quickly hid by the corner of the dorm.  Michael looked out and when he saw that nobody was there he walked back towards the center of the room.
“Okay, we’ll try this again,” Michael said, “Take it from the top!!”
“Mind telling me what is going on here?” Marcus asked, “Simon called me with your phone telling me to meet you’re here.”
“Marcus, Simon and I did some investigating and Michael Stevenson isn’t who he say he is,” Rachel explained.
“What do you mean?” Marcus asked.
“I think he might be a spy of some sorts,” Rachel guessed, “But I want to know why he is choosing this abandoned dorm?  He seemed to be interested of this place.”
“What should we do?” Marcus asked.
“We wait,” Rachel said, “He said something about going into the basement.  Once he goes in there we follow him.  Hopefully in the meantime Simon will be able to get the Headmaster.”

***

“What do you mean I can’t see Headmaster Savage right now?!” Simon cried.
He was in the main building’s front office looking at a secretary.
“He said he does not want to be disturbed at this hour,” she explained.
“What can he possibly be doing?” Simon asked, “This is an emergency!!”

***

Headmaster Savage was using a hand held mirror and he had his toupee off.  On his bald spot he was rubbing something and on his desk is a bottle of hair growth formula.
“Come on, come on,” he groaned, “You got to be the one to cure my male pattern baldness.”

***

“Well I am sorry but Headmaster Savage strictly said not to allow any visitors for the rest of the day,” the secretary told Simon, “If you are lucky and wait for a while, though, he might decide to be available.”
The boy groaned as he stormed towards the seats and sat right down.

***

Rachel was watching through the window while Marcus tried to call Simon on his phone.
“No answer,” he said, “How long does it take for Simon to inform security?”
“Alright, you were brilliant,” Michael said, “Now we can go to the basement.”
“Finally,” Rachel muttered, “Come on, Marcus.  Now we can follow.”
The two entered the house and saw that everyone has left for the basement.  Marcus was treading normally but Rachel still looked a little freaked out.
“Man, I hate being in this place,” she said, “It gives me the creeps.”
The two stopped and noticed a huge hole in the middle of the floor.
“Is it just me or this place in an even worse state the last time we went in here?” Rachel asked.
“Look,” Marcus spoke quietly.
Though the hole they saw Robin, Alice, Tyler, and Michael looking around.
“Alright, the phantom has you all cornered and you have to find a way out,” Michael told the three, “One of you realizes that the grate on the center of the floor leads to a secret tunnel that’s bound northward.”
“Northward?” Rachel asked, “There’s nothing that’s north of here.”
“Except for the lighthouse,” Marcus said.
“Right,” Rachel nodded, “But Robin told me that the lighthouse is older than the academy itself and no one knows exactly why.  But what makes you think that the dorm is connected to it?”
“Well he says its northward,” Marcus pointed out, “And he has the academy’s maps.  He should know for sure where the so called tunnel leads.”
“Excuse me?” Tyler asked, “But where is this phantom?”
“Oh…uh….it’ll be added in by CGI,” Michael claimed.
“But I don’t see a green screen,” Robin said.
“Then it’ll be added by holograms!” Michael exclaimed, “What do I look like?  A computer nerd?!
“Now that I am hearing him he does sound fake,” Marcus said.
“Action!!” Michael cried.
“What do we do?” Alice asked Robin, “That phantom has us cornered!”
Robin looked around and eventually stared at the grate.  She tumbled over towards the center and pulled out the grate.
“Inside!!” Robin ordered.
Alice and Tyler went in first followed by Robin herself.  Lastly Michael and his C.A.M. unit went through.
“Looks like it’s our turn,” Marcus said, “Follow me!”
The floorboard by the edge of the hole, the spot Marcus was standing on, gave way and the boy fell face flat on the floor.
“Ugh….this place sucks,” he groaned, “Why wasn’t this place torn down?”

***

Simon was twiddling his fingers in the front office waiting for Headmaster Savage to finally come out.  It was nearly an hour since he got here and was about to give up when Savage came out, wearing his toupee once more, and walking past the attendant.
“Well that product didn’t work for me,” he spoke, “If you need me, Carla, I’ll be in my room reminiscing about my youth.”
“Headmaster, wait!” Simon cried.
“Mr. Matthews, what are you doing here at this hour?” Savage asked.
“I did some research on Michael Stevenson and I found something you might want to look at,” Simon said, handing Rachel’s phone to the man.
Headmaster Savage looked into the phone but it was really an image of Rachel and Robin high-fiving each other.  The man was speechless until Simon slid his finger across the phone’s screen, showing the article.  The headmaster took a moment to read it and handed the phone back to Simon.
“That man does look like Michael,” Savage said, “But how are you sure he is the spy?”
“Well he seems pretty interested in the school’s abandoned dorm,” Simon said, “And he has maps of the academy.”
“That’s absurd,” Savage said, “Our maps are strictly confidential and not available to the public.  Though, of course, Terra Patrol HQ did notify me the other day that someone hacked into their servers and downloaded our academy’s map.”
“That did not occur to you when Michael asked you about the abandoned dorm?” Simon asked, “So then there’s really nothing important with it.”
“Of course not,” Savage answered, “The only secret it’s hiding is the hidden tun….”
The man immediately stopped, realizing that something serious was wrong.
“This is not good!” he cried, running past Simon and out of the office, “Lock up for me, Clara.  I am notifying security at once!!”
“Hey, wait up!!” Simon cried, running after the Headmaster.
Clara, who was now the only person left in the room, was actually wearing earphones and listening to music and not to the conversation the whole time.
“Sorry, did you say something?” Clara asked, taking out an earbud and looking around to see that she was all alone before putting the earbud back in.

***

Rachel and Marcus slid through the opened grate and realized that they were indeed in a tunnel but it was pitch black.
“I can’t see a thing!” Rachel cried, “They must be really far ahead by now.”
Marcus took out his amulet and it started glowing, shining the way for the two.  Together they walked down through the tunnel which seemed to go on forever.
“This is way too creepy,” Rachel said, her whole body shaking, “Why is this tunnel here?  Why is the entrance hidden at the abandoned dorm?  Why?  Why?”
“Be quiet, Rachel,” Marcus whispered, “We must not draw any attention.  Remember we don’t want Michael to know that we are following him.”
The two kept on walking together until they noticed a light source far ahead of them.  Not wanting to be seen Marcus dimmed the amulet and stashed it away.  Together they walked close towards the light source and hid behind a boulder laying against the wall of the tunnel.  Above them were lights set up and activated to illuminate the area.  Marcus peeked over and noticed that Michael, Robin, Alice, and Tyler were against a boarded wall.  Robin was hard at working kicking down the boards while the C.A.M. unit was filming.  With one great kick Robin was able to break through the wall.
“And cut!!” Michael shouted, “Brilliant work.”
Robin had her hands on her knees while she was catching her breath, her body a bit sweaty from all that effort she gave.
“I don’t get it,” Tyler spoke, “What is on the other end of that sealed off section?”
“Yeah, did you set that up before we got here?” Alice asked.
“Uh…yes,” Michael said.
“So, on to the next scene?” Robin asked.
“I am afraid that’s it for today,” Michael said, “You should all get some rest.  We’ll resume filming tomorrow.”
“No way!!” Alice refused, “We want to see what’s on the other end.”
“Uh…no,” Michael said nervously, “That area’s not quite set up yet and…”
“Come on, we are actors now,” Robin said, “We should at least know our set around before we continue tomorrow.”
“Please don’t!” Michael pleaded.
However they all ignored them as they went inside.  Rachel and Marcus were peering over as Michael walked after them.  Robin, Tyler, and Alice were a bit surprised as they were seeing a large, steel wall.  In the center was a high-tech vault with a computer right next to it.
“What is that?” Robin asked.
“And why is it here?” Alice asked, “Where exactly are we under?”
They then heard what sounded like a weapon charging.  Turning around, they noticed Michael was holding a phaser directly at the three.  Tyler freaked out the moment he saw the weapon and hid behind Robin.
“What are you doing?!” Alice cried.
“You just had to walk inside,” Michael said, “I was giving you a chance to go back to your rooms while I got to work this this hidden entrance.  You all could’ve left unharmed but no, you just had to be curious.”
“What is going on?” Robin asked, “What is all of this?”
“Well since I am about to finish you three off I might as well tell you,” Michael explained.
“Tell us what, Michael?” Alice asked.
“Can it, the name’s not Michael!” the man shouted, “My real name is Skyler Ahlberg and I am an international spy, wanted in 97 countries.”
“Wait, you are a wanted spy?” Tyler asked.
“Correct,” Skyler confirmed, “I have been going all over the globe gathering intel such as secret plans or blueprints to a secret weapon.  I get what I want undetected and leave while the people I leave behind scratches their heads and wonder what just happened.”
“But what do you want with this wall?” Robin asked, a little upset of the truth.
“Well some….partners of mine seem a bit interested about the lighthouse,” Skyler explained, “It’s older than the academy but no one knows why.  Rumor has it than some scientist spent the remainder of his years on that building experimenting and coming up with inventions to help better prepare the world for future cataclysms.  When the man passed the entire island went up for sale and eventually bought by Jericho Savage and this academy was built.  The tunnel here, actually leads directly to the underside of that lighthouse.”
“That lighthouse is a popular teen hangout,” Robin said, “If there was a secret lab someone would have stumbled upon it.”
“But it was well hidden,” Skyler said, “They said that before the scientist moved he sealed up the entrance to the lab from the lighthouse and now the only way in is through this vault, holding such delectable secrets.  And those secrets it held caught my client’s attention and hired me to bring back whatever I could find.  I downloaded the maps of the academy and snuck my way in.  However that boarded up wall was in the way and the wood was too for my weapon to burn through so I needed some help.”
“You needed us,” Robin said.
“You, actually,” Skyler continued, “Your leg strength was necessary enough for me to get through that wall and now here I am, another obstacle for me to get through.  I used this whole movie story to keep the faculty from knowing my true plan.”
“If you needed Robin then why do you need us?” Alice asked.
“I needed some extra students for my ruse so that no one would get suspicious,” Skyler answered, “And now that I have gotten past that wooden wall you three are no longer necessary.”
Robin just glared while Alice and Tyler cowered behind her.  With no special suit or weapons Robin wasn’t able to fend him off.  However, Rachel suddenly came from behind and grabbed onto Skyler, making him drop his weapon.
“What the?” Skyler groaned, trying to shake Rachel off, “Where did you come from?  How did you get past my robot?”
“It was an older C.A.M. unit,” Rachel explained, “We just pressed the off button on it?”
“We?” Skyler spoke.
He shook Rachel off, turned around, and saw Marcus holding the deactivated C.A.M. unit.
“I shouldn’t have cheaped out,” Skyler groaned, “I should have bought the newer model instead.”
Robin did see her chance and tackled right into Skyler, knocking him into the wall.
“Get going, now!” Robin ordered.
Tyler and Alice nodded as she, Robin, Rachel, and Marcus ran through the tunnel and back into the darkness, only to be illuminated by Marcus’ amulet.
“Where did you two come from?” Robin asked, “You didn’t have permission to be here!”
“Be glad we are here,” Rachel said, “We had an iffy feeling about Mich…I mean Skyler and we were right.”
“You mean we really aren’t going to be on the big screen?” Alice asked, a bit disappointed, “But I was doing a good job at acting.”
Rachel rolled her eyes around, as she knew that Alice’s acting skills needed work big time.  Several laser shots flew past them all of a sudden.  Robin turned around and saw that Skyler was back up and firing his weapon.
“Get back here!!” Skyler cried, “You are not going anywhere!  I can’t let you leave now that you know my secret!!”
“You shouldn’t have told us then!” Tyler cried.
“But we did see that vault,” Robin added.
“That’s right, you all know too much!!” Skyler cried.
Tyler kept on running when he tripped and fall onto the floor.  Immediately Skyler grabbed him and pointed the phaser towards his head.  Seeing this everyone else stopped where they were in the middle of the tunnel.
“Help me!!” Tyler cried.
“Why hold him hostage?” Rachel asked, “Weren’t you gonna kill us anyway?”
“Oh, I will,” Skyler said, “Starting with this kid.”
“AHHH!!!” Tyler cried, “HELP ME!!!”
Robin glared, feeling helpless to stop the spy.
“Dammit,” she muttered under her breath, “I really hate not being able to help anyone.  I really hate it….”
Marcus tried to think of a way when he noticed some old lights, all burned out and no longer working.
“I wonder,” Marcus said, holding out his amulet.
The amulet then glowed and shot a beam of lights on all the burned out lamps.  Suddenly they powered on and turned bright, really bright.  Really, really, bright.  However, it didn’t do much as Skyler was still wearing sunglasses.
“Nice try, but you can’t blind me,” the spy said.
“Wasn’t trying to,” Marcus said with a smile.
He gestured his head upwards making Skyler looking up.  The bright light has woken up a bunch of bats inside as they started to fly about in a panic.  As they flew about they got in Skyler’s way making him drop Tyler who ran towards the kids.
“Run for it!” Marcus ordered.
The kids ran once again, leaving Skyler behind.
“What are bats doing in a tunnel?” Rachel asked.
The kids kept running as they stopped and noticed a small opening.  Marcus and Robin pushed away some rocks and noticed a hidden chamber.
“Another secret tunnel?” Robin asked.
“Must be a cave leading somewhere,” Alice guessed, “The whole tunnel must have been built too close and one day erosion had opened up this place.”
Several shots flew past them as Skyler was still after them.
“No time to examine,” Robin said, “Let’s get going!!”
The kids ran once more as they stopped towards the end of the tunnel.  They looked up and noticed the opening above that led to the abandoned dorm was still opened.  Robin helped her friends until she was alone where Rachel proceeded to help her up.
“Let’s find the Headmaster,” Robin said, “We can let him deal with this.”
Everyone ran out of the mansion as the bats that Marcus just awoken flew out from the windows and into the sunset.  They were not at the edge of the jungle as they stopped to catch their breath.  However, Skyler did catch up to them and pointed his weapon at Robin.
“Why….must you be so difficult!” Skyler asked, “Well no matter.  Guess I’ll be getting rid of some nosy pests!!”
“Guess again!!” shouted Headmaster Savage.
Skyler looked up and noticed that the Headmaster was staring angrily at him.  Suddenly member of Terra Patrol popped out of the bushes and pointed their weapons directly at the man, making him drop his weapon and hold his hands in the air.
“Headmaster,” Robin spoke, “That man’s real name is Skyler Ahlberg.  He is a wanted spy and was trying to gather secrets of Terra Academy.”
“And he downloaded the maps of this academy,” Alice added.
“And he tried to do away with us!!” Tyler said.
“That’s all I needed to hear,” Savage said, “You are coming with us, Skyler.”
“Okay, okay, I’ll come along quietly,” the spy said calmly, “I know when I am beaten.  I’ll cooperate.”
As Skyler talked, he placed his hands on the back of his head and slowly reached into the back of the neck of his shirt.  Then he immediately pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it to the ground, covering the man’s escape as a large cloud of smoke covered the area.
“Get him!” Savage ordered, “We can’t let him escape!”
Skyler ran towards the docks where his private boat was waiting.
“So long, suckers!” Skyler cried, “But there is no stopping me!  I’ll just come back with another alias and get the island’s secrets myself!”
The man ran past between two palm trees when he suddenly tripped.  Looking over he noticed a roped tied to the trunk at one end and pulled tight by Simon at one end.
“Sorry, but the only boat you are going is Terra Patrol’s boat,” Simon said.
The entire security team caught up to Skyler and grabbed the man while another grabbed the so called script and read it over.
“This is the script, sir,” the soldier said, handing the script towards Headmaster Savage, “It contains the academy’s maps and the secret areas it shows.”
“Excellent,” Savage said, “Take the man to the Sandshore HQ and keep him there until the main HQ comes for him.”
“I can’t believe it,” Skyler groaned, “Foiled by a bunch of cadets.”
“Speaking of which,” Savage said, turning towards Simon, Rachel, and Marcus.
“You three have proved yourselves pretty capable,” Savage said, “Simon, you were suspicious of something and took the proper action, doing proper research and making sure that Skyler was actually a spy.  Rachel and Marcus, you two kept an eye on the man even though you did go into the abandoned dorms, which was against school code.  Even so, you were able to save Miss Armando, Miss Juniper, and Mr. Samuels over there.”
“So, does that mean we get extra credit?” Marcus asked.
“Don’t push your luck,” Savage said.
“But I must know about something,” Alice spoke.
“Oh, right,” Savage said, “You might have seen something down in that old tunnel, something not known to the students here.  I must ask you all to forget what you saw and not tell a single soul of what you stumbled upon.”
“What?” Marcus asked, “Why can’t you just tell us?!”
“Because it’s classified, Mr. Avery,” Headmaster Savage explained, “Besides, I don’t think you’ll be able to handle such an answer.  It is best that you forget whatever you saw down there.”
Headmaster Savage left as the entire security teams escorted Skyler to the docks.
“Alright, you are coming with us,” one of the members said.
“You think you have won!?” Skyler shouted to the kids behind him, “No prison cell can hold me forever!  One day I will be back!”
“Well I am glad that ordeal is over,” Robin said, “Still I am honest to admit that I am disappointed that we aren’t going to be on the movie.”
“Still, we should be grateful we got out of that mess,” Alice said, “All thanks to Marcus here.”
“Hey, I helped,” Rachel pointed out.
“The real person we should thank is Simon,” Marcus said, “He was the one who saw through Skyler’s ruse.”
“I do wonder, though,” Simon spoke, “What is in that vault?  Why is it connected to the lighthouse and abandoned dorm?  And why is Headmaster Savage keeping it a secret from us?”
“Well we aren’t finding out,” Rachel said, “We are lucky that the Headmaster didn’t punish us for just stumbling upon it.  Besides, something tells me that the old building’s going to be on high guard for a while.”
“I guess you’re right,” Marcus nodded, “It’s probably not important anyway.”
“Still, I do wish I could at least be in a movie,” Robin said.
“Well, it’s not really an official movie but…there is one thing we can still do,” Rachel offered.
“What?” Robin asked.

The next day Robin was running down the alleyway, holding the golden monkey statuette.  This was just like the opening scene of the episode where she was being chased by the demon, played as both Nathan and Natalie, but this time Rachel was running alongside Robin.  Together they ran until they stopped at the wall.
“This is not good,” Robin said, “We’re trapped at the dead end.”
“Now I got you!” the demon said in a raspy voice, “Hand over that statue immediately.”
“No way,” Rachel refused, “There is no way we’ll surrender an important artifact such as this!”
“Very well then,” the demon spoke, advancing towards the girls, “Then I guess I have no choice.”
“Not so fast!” cried Marcus, standing on the dumpster nearby.
“Marcus, you’re alive?” Rachel cried happily.
“You think that death trap back at the temple can stop me?” Marcus asked, “Well think again.”
Marcus held out a flashlight and shone a bright light directly at the demon.  It then stepped back, acting like the light was hurting it.
“The purity light, my one true weakness,” the demon cried, acting like it was in pain.
“And that’s not all,” Marcus said, “Alice, Tyler, will you go the honors?”
“Certainly,” Alice nodded, appearing from behind the trash cans with Tyler.
They both had flashlights and shone it at the demon.  Letting out a pained scream the creature slinked back into a dark building as the three turned their flashlights off.
“You have defeated me!” the demon cried from inside, “But you haven’t seen the last of me.  Next time I will be back to get that statuette!”
“And we’ll be waiting,” Marcus said with confidence.
“And cut!” Simon said, appearing from behind the dumpster with the camera, “That’s a rap, everyone.”
“Good,” Nathan said, appearing from the building with his sister and the demon costume, “Because my shoulders are aching from being the demon’s lower half.”
“Awesome!” Robin cheered, “I am so going to get an A on my movie project for drama class.”
“I actually think we did a good job together,” Alice admitted.
“Plus you improved a little on your acting, too,” Rachel said.
“You think was something wrong with it?” Alice asked, tilting her head.
“Uh…no, nothing like that,” Rachel said nervously, “I was just saying that you are improving is all.”
“Well the reason we did so well was because we had experience with actual bad guys,” Marcus said.
“Yeah, at this point I say we are pretty much ready to take on anything,” Robin said.

Meanwhile, halfway across the galaxy, on another planet, a cloaked figure entered a tavern filled with an assortment of alien lifeforms.  The cloaked person saw a man sitting on the table, he looked human but was bald and had a reddish skin tone.  The figured went over to the table and sat down.
“What do you want with me?” the bald alien asked.
“Are you Dr. Dreadmore?” the figured asked.
“Yes, I am him,” the alien confirmed.
The figured pulled down his robe, revealing to be none other than Burg.
“I come with some unfortunate news,” Burg said, “It seems the man you hired to infiltrate Terra Academy got arrested.”
“I know, I do get galactic cable,” Dreadmore said, “I saw it on the Earth news.  Shame, really.  I guess those secrets are going to stay as such forever.”
“Well, I was sent here by Urukan,” Berg explained, “He has a job offer for you.”
The screen then faded into black before Berg was able to further explain what the job was.

END
A movie producer has come to the island looking to select a few lucky students to try out for his upcoming film.  Robin became one of those people and is a bit eager to try it out after being talked in.  However, Simon thinks the whole thing is suspicious and investigates.  Is the producer really making a movie for is there something else he was planning?

I would do a little proof-reading to edit out typos and such but I don't really have time this morning and I need to get this up while the month is still going on.

Terra Academy belongs to me.

:megaphone: Cut! I don't usually like doing this, but...

“The real person we should think is Simon,” Marcus said, “He was the one who saw through Skyler’s ruse.”
“I do wonder, though,” Marcus spoke, “What is in that vault?  Why is it connected to the lighthouse and abandoned dorm?  And why is Headmaster Savage keeping it a secret from us?”

Shouldn't Simon be saying the second bit of dialogue there?

Other than that, great episode as always. Favorite part had to be the one with Simon waiting for the headmaster.

And what does Burg have in store for Dr. Dreadmore?
